Choose a verbal or written excerpt from a speech, interview, dialogue, or recorded confrontation by a local politician or someone famous. What specific language was used which contained harmful/censored language. How did the language used in that speech/interview affect people’s perception of him/her? Using this excerpt, discuss whether you are in favor of unlimited freedom of expression. What are the effects of the use of politically incorrect (immoral, abhorrent, dangerous) language to the society as a whole?
